Who am I?
Hello! So glad you stumbled across my site. My name is Erin Kessler and I am originally from the east coast of Florida, but have called Palmer my home for the last 6 years. I have a degree in Studio Art from the University of Central Florida and a post baccalaureate degree in Art Teaching from The University of Alaska- Fairbanks. I have been practicing art my entire life in all forms. My daily experience presents opportunities to view the world as a place of beauty, design, and wonder. My creative mind is always working and I love to put it to work. Currently I explore the mediums of acrylic paint, mixed media 3D art, hand crafts, and digital art.
I am a registered and certified Yoga Teacher and co-owner of Midnight Sun Yoga Center, a local yoga studio in downtown Palmer, Alaska. I have worked with and at Backcountry Bike and Ski for 6 years and have since become their PR and Events Coordinator. I am also on the Board of a local trail advocacy non-profit: Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers, am on the steering committee for SprocKidz Youth Mountain Biking Program as well as the Palmer Colony Days Committee, and Who Let The Girls Out event. Palmer is a great small (but growing) community and the wonderful folks around here have asked me time and time again to design posters, promotional materials, WordPress websites, and more for their organizations both large and small. This is where Long Point Creative was born. I decided there is a strong need for local businesses to have catchy, creative print and logo material, and I feel I can provide it to them at a great price. Please take a look at my portfolio. If you have any questions or would like to know how Long Point Creative can help your business or event grow, please let me know! Thanks and have a beautiful day!
